Finding Your Brave Podcast with DeShawne Edwards

I had the opportunity to sit down with DeShawne Edwards for an episode of the Finding Your Brave podcast to talk about Confessions of a Church Girl and the story behind the book.

We talked about what it means to be honest about the messy parts of faith, the courage it takes to share the parts of our stories we might rather keep hidden, and why authenticity matters so much, especially within the Church.

I loved getting to share more about my own journey, why I chose to write this book, and what I hope readers take away from it. At the heart of our conversation was a message I come back to again and again: people are imperfect, faith can be messy, but Jesus is still Jesus.
